When cleaning stainless steel appliances there is a more natural way of cleaning them then using harsh, greasy chemicals.
For years I thought that stainless steel cleaner that you buy from janitorial or big box stores was the only way to get stainless steel appliances to shine but I was wrong. Not only are these chemicals bad for you but they also tend to be greasy which attracts more dust, hair and dirt to the surface.
By following the 2 simple steps below you will find that your appliances will be as clean if not cleaner then using store bought cleaners.
- Use a damp, clean micro fibre cloth with a tiny bit of dish soap to wipe down the stainless steel and remove any fingerprints as well as food residue etc. Make sure to wipe with the grain of the stainless steel.
- Immediately after and while the appliance is still damp use a clean, dry microfibre cloth to dry and polish the stainless steel again going with the grain of the metal.
Voila! No more greasy appliances.
